Dr. Jamie Hayden Vonroenn, MD

Dr. Von Roenn is a fantastic doctor. She is smart, witty and caring; giving me all of her time and attention at my appointments. She answered all of my questions and has a very calming effect. I highly reccomend her.

JAMIE'S BEDSIDE MANOR IS TRULY HEARTFELT WHEN SHE IS TREATING YOU SHE TAKES CARE OF EACH PATIENT AS THOUGH THAT WAS HER ONE,AND ONLY PATIENT.SHE TAKES JUST ABOUT THE WORST NEWS ONE CAN GET FROM A DOCTOR,AND ALWAYS POINTS TO THE GLASS AS 1/2 FULL RATHER THAN EMPTY.I HOPE TO NEVER EVER NEED HER MEDICAL EXPERTISE AGAIN,BUT SHE IS ONE DOCTOR I FEEL I CAN CALL TO JUST CHECK-IN WITH HER,AND AND ASK HOW SHE IS,AS WELL AS,WHAT IS NEW IN YOUR WORLD TODAY,THIS YEAR...WHAT EVER. IT ISN'T OFTEN ONE CAN SEE A PERSDON SUCH AS JAMIE,AND KNOW SHE HAS BEEN PLACES NO OTHER DOCTOR HAS FROM A MEDICAL POINT OF VIEW. SHE IS MAGIC,THE WAY SHE CONTINUALLY UPS HER GAME THE WAY MANY PROFESSIONS JUST CAN'T.

Jamie,is by far the very best doctor I have ever dealt with in my life. She is smart,clinically smart,as well as a God given bed side manor second to any other doctors I have had to deal.As a patient she is always accessible regardless of the time of day.She holds nothing back once a diagnoses has been made. Many other doctors could learn so much if they were given the opportunity to shadow Jamie for a couple of days. Regardless of how hard one tries, some of her skills can not be taught.If there were more doctors,like Dr. Von Roenn, patients would feel much more in control,and the determination to beat what ever type of cancer one has.I pray to God I will never need the medical services of Dr.Von Roenn again.At the same time it is apparent how someone has a calling in life, and Dr. Von Roenn

She is very kind, warm and knows her stuff....but there was a lack of communication with her staff in carrying out her instructions. She was not as organized or in control of her staff. It was up to the patient to double check that things were done, and when they weren't done -- look a couple of weeks to get things resolved...just to slow. I would get her opinion on a situation, but would have concerns on getting it implemented...

Dr. Jamie H. Von Roenn, is by far one of those rare doctors that come along every so often.She tells it like it is, and there is not a doctor at Nortwestern Memorial Hospital that has everything working at the same time. Care, bedside manor,gentle, and sympathetic,and an overall need to to give 125% to everyone she treats.I will forever be aware that the reason I am here today, is because of Jamie Von Roenn.Jamie...on a scale of 1 to 10 is 10+ .
