Jamie Lee Weeder, CRNP

Jamie Weeder is a certified registered nurse practitioner in hematology oncology. With a focus on outpatient care, Ms. Weeder manages adult cancer patients, assessing and addressing their complex symptoms. She performs bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures and stem cell transplants, and accesses Ommaya reservoirs to administer intrathecal chemotherapy.Ms. Weeder’s clinical interests include comprehensive management of lung cancers and cancer survivorship. Her leadership extends to her role as the chief nurse practitioner in her department, where she has made significant contributions, including as the Cancer Survivorship Program director for a number of years. She’s particularly proud of her work in developing a hematology and oncology training syllabus for new advanced practitioners, showcasing her dual focus on the importance of process improvement and fostering strong relationships with patients and colleagues. “I’ve always felt driven to help …others,” Ms. Weeder says.The Danville-area native is an alumna of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing.
