While en route to the emergency room, I contacted the oncologist, who was unable to offer a clear plan. Where do I begin!!!! If I could give her a million starts I will. I am 45 years old with a high risk of getting breast cancer. I met Dr. Z last year , and we decided to do a double mastectomy with a flap reconstruction. We went with a PAP flap , which is from the inner thigh . It was a very hard decision, I knew I was doing the right thing , but it was very hard . When I met her . She-put me at ease and I trusted her instantly. She is a miracle worker!!!! Dr. Zampell has been my surgeon for breast reconstruction w/ DIEP flap procedure, due to breast cancer and a bilateral mastectomy. The very first day that I met her, I knew I was choosing her to be my surgeon. She was very knowledgeable and detailed in explaining the process to me. She made me feel at ease being that I was having such an intricate and long surgery. I thank God for bringing her into my life. She was such a life saver to me. I highly recommend Dr. Zampell! From the very 1st consultation I knew she was experienced and made me feel comfortable. She tailors to your needs. I'm very satisfied with my result, breast reconstruction after my lumpectomy.She has 2 locations. I like her personalized service. Whenever I had an immediate health concern, I contacted her directly via cell. Her staff is amazing, Natalie and Lourdes. They are responsive to my calls, emails, and medical forms. I rate a 5 star but took of 1 star due to the $50 charge for each medical forms. I understand the need to charge due to high volume but maybe adjusting the price. This pandemic has affected us all and a little help goes a long way.
