Dr. Jamila Abdedaim Benmoussa, MD

Dr. Jamila Benmoussa is a board-certified endocrinologist specializing in diabetes and metabolism, along with internal medicine. She earned her medical degree from University Hassan II Ain Chock Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Casablanca and completed her residency at Sisters of Charity Hospital. With 21 years of clinical experience, Dr. Benmoussa brings extensive expertise to managing complex hormonal and metabolic conditions. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Benmoussa practices at multiple locations throughout Albany, New York, including Saint Peters Diabetes and Endocrine Care and Albany Medical Center South Clinical Campus. Her clinical focus includes treating Type 2 diabetes in both children and teenagers as well as adults. She also manages diabetic ketoacidosis, a serious diabetes complication. Dr. Benmoussa utilizes comprehensive diagnostic approaches including blood tests and complete blood counts to monitor her patients' health.
