Jamon Blood, DO

Dr. Blood believes family has a great influence on a child's mental health and outcomes. Therefore, he works with the whole family when treating a child. "I believe you treat the whole family and not just the child. Working within the family system allows me to address all the challenges my patients are facing." Inspired by a mission trip to Brazil, Dr. Blood's desire is to help his patients make positive changes in their lives. "I want to be able to help change a child's trajectory through their life," he said. "I love working with very young children to young adults. I'm also interested in working with those who have special needs." When not working with patients, Dr. Blood enjoys woodworking, gardening, serving in his church, riding dirt bikes and all kinds of sports, especially basketball. Dr. Blood is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
