Dr. Jamshid Faraji, MD

I've been 1.5 times. The doctor is knowledgeable and experienced, however it's really awful. The first time I was there, I came for STD test results after getting divorced from a 13yr marriage. Before I was allowed (by the doctor) to see my test results, he insisted we discuss my weight. I let him know I had been waiting weeks and needed the results first and he declined and asked me to hold out my hand. Next he proceeded to write with black ink pen on the tips of my five fingers: C, R, B, P, and another I forget. He explained that these are carbohydrates for corn, rice, bread, pasta...etc and that I must remember them. He then logged into Google and pulled up images of bread. I felt really demeaned and mortified. Finally he gave me the results of my clean test. I'm on Facebook if you'd like to see my "weight issue". Today, I came for an ear infection for a 4:40pm appointment. I signed in and it's now 5:35pm and nobody has spoken to me, not once, except to have me pay the… $55 copay. I will now ask for a refund and never return. I'm on the way to urgent care.

This Doctor is always late, does not apologize and is very rude. He interrupted me, talked over me and treated me like I was not important. He had an intern with him on one visit and when the Doctor left the room he expressed how much he did not enjoy the internship. Go to another Doctor, this guy does not care about people.

HE IS THE BEST!! 25 plus YEARS he has been my doctor!!! HE'S THE BEST!!! Why? Because he sees your face!! He knows who you are!! Yes, you may have to wait-but its worth it!! My wife passed from cancer he walked me through every and I mean every step of her treatment. I called my wife's oncologist and read him the riot act for treating my wife as a "statistic!" Doctor Faraji didn't do this; he kept me informed at all times!!! As a school teacher for many years I know the "party line!" (doctors talk between themselves about patients) The oncologist called Dr. Faraji and told him of my frustration' Dr. Faraji stated does he have a valid claim? I am still with Dr. Faraji, why? Because he cares about me and my well being!! Always remember the BEST things in life come to those whom wait!!! If I could have one wish!! It is for Dr. Faraji to follow his passion MUSIC!! He and I are of the same age! We have both given enough to society! For me LAPD cop;… contractor; school teacher with a focus on migrant children. Thanks, Doctor Faraji; your children shall be so so proud of you!!

First & importantly, I like the man very much. I appreciated most every visit and found him to very thorough. However, a 2:00 appointment really means you can anticipate being led in by the check-in nurse at 3:00 and see the doctor at 3:30. That’s a level of disrespect that is oddly in conflict with the respect and attention received in the exam itself. I’m conflicted over leaving, but leave is what I’m going to do.

One of the best doctors that ever existed! Truly cares about his patients and takes time to explain everything. The only Doctor who is available to his patients 24/7.

In my many years I have seen many doctors because of many moves. Dr. Faraji is the most pleasing and caring doctor I have ever had. He is joyful, courteous and spends the time to teach you what he is doing and why. I feel fortunate to be his patient.

Awful. Worst. Avoid at all costs. This doctor seemed to enjoy the sound of his own voice as, each time I saw him, he "entertained" me with stories about his life. No thanks. I spent so much time waiting out in the office area, then AGAIN in the exam room, that I think I gave up a year of my life. Dr. Faraji is also way, way, way too generous with the prescription pad. Never once did he actually examine me or touch me...just talk, talk, wait, talk, wait, wait, talk, talk, talk...
