Dr. Jamshid Mohammadi Taheri, MD

Dr. Jamshid Taheri is a surgeon with six decades of experience treating complex medical conditions. He earned his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and completed his residency at Providence Hospital. Dr. Taheri brings extensive expertise to his surgical practice, with particular focus on oncological care. He communicates fluently in both English and Arabic.

Dr. Taheri practices at Adventist Healthcare Fort Washington Medical Center and maintains his office in Oxon Hill, Maryland. His clinical expertise centers on treating breast cancer, including advanced cases that have spread or returned after initial treatment. He also manages Paget disease of the breast, a rare form of cancer affecting the nipple area.
