She told me I had no abnormal thyroid tests in my files even though I have multiple low Free T3 test results. She also told me that she believes thyroid meds should be taken with food even though all literature about thyroid meds, including the paper which comes with the medication, clearly states it should be taken on an empty stomach and not have food within 30-60 minutes.

Totally 'old school', will not treat patients if using any natural (desiccated) thyroid replacement hormone, e.g. Armour Thyroid, NP Thyroid, etc. Not a very pleasant demeanour and definitely a 'know it all'!

I am a professional and feel qualified as a health care provider to express that Dr. Bruder is arrogant, full of herself and has no bedside manner that would encourage me to ever see her again. She may have bone experience but was way off base in diabetes and thyroid with ancient practice knowledge. Needs to take courses to get updated in current practive standards. very disappointing. ST
