Dr. Jan Hendrik Burger, MD

I was just released from Dr. Burger without any notice ! I’ve been a patient of his for nearly 10 years. I was told it was because I missed an appt , that I tried calling to reschedule but only got their answering service! I’ve been a self pay patient have they have violated my privacy on more than one occasion and I should have reported them then, but because he had been my doctor for so long and I liked him as a provider I did not! And now I’ve been black listed from the practice for missing an appt that I had attempted to reschedule! This is bad business! This is wrong! Dr. Burger you’ve changed and not for the better but for the worst! It’s a real shame Dr. Burger! A real shame!

First, I feel very comfortable with Dr. Burger and his wonderful nurse, Jennifer. They sincerely convey concern for my health and well being. Dr. Burger is cautious to confirm serious issues before throwing medication at the problem. Dr. Burger was recommended to be by a long time patient who told me he was thorough and did not over medicate. This was the issue that I had with my previous doctor. Dr. Burger has been my primary care physician for over 7 years and I highly recommend him.

The first question out of the receptionist mouth was the name of my insurance. When I said Medicare, she said they weren't taking Medicare patients now. I don't think I would want a doctor whose priority is $ not the patient.

I have always been terrified of going to the doctor. Any doctor. For anything. Dr. Burger has been our family doctor since we moved here 5 1/2 years ago and he puts me at ease. He's very compassionate and listens to me. He never makes me feel like he's in too much of a rush to talk about my concerns. His nurse is fantastic, such a sweet lady. I've finally stopped white-knuckling through appointments.

Only reason I did not rate 5 stars is due to receptionist who answers phone and schedules appts. sounds like I am bothering her and is extremely rude. She should really find a different job. Surprised these wonderful doctors allow this behavior which is a direct reflection of their office.

The office staff is rude and not helpful. You have to jump through hoops to get simple things done. Im switching doctors because they have not been respectful to me as a patient or person.

Dr. Burger has been my doctor for six years. He has taken exceptional care of me. I've learned a lot about taking care of myself from him. His level of concern is honest. He is a great doctor and has become a friend.

I enjoy visiting him and his nurse. They are very kind and friendly people. They are both professionals.

Very pleased with Dr. Burger.
