Dr. Jan Kathryn Davis, MD

She is the best of the best. Always there when you need her...appt. on the same day, answers all of your questions even if it is a phone call at 2:00 in the morning, and most importantly; she takes the time to treat and care for your child. She and nurse Janie are great with my kids. They love them...been going there since they were newborns. One is now 10 yrs. old and the other is 5 yrs. old. We moved and now drive about an hour to see her but don't mind it at all...she is worth the drive!

I have been taking both my girls since birth - ages 12 and 15 and I couldn't ask for a better doctor.

Dr. Davis sincerly cares about her patients, we've never felt like a number to her like we did at other Dr's. She stays focused on you until she's sure you're done asking questions. She also respects the fact that the parents make the decisions for the children, and has been willing to work with us to modify our son's vaccination schedule. She also stressed the importance of getting all of them. I appreciate her candor and respect. Also, when our son was a newborn, they immediately moved us into a room so he wasn't exposed to anything in the waiting room at any time.

I can always get an appointment with Dr. Davis on the same day I call. Her practice is small, with only one nurse and herself. Dr. Davis and her nurse, Jani have really made an effort to get to know my children as people. They have a no-nonsense approach to medical care. They are straightforward with the kids, explaining why they are doing certain procedures, but they do it with care. Any time of day or night, someone answers the phone. Dr. Davis, herself takes calls in the middle of the night...not an answering service. I cannot say enough good things about the practice. Nothing about the office is fancy or swanky. In fact, they do all their record keeping by hand, with limited computer use. This is the kind of doctor's office you went to when you were a kid.
