Dr. Jan Nix, DC

I rarely if ever write reviews. Certainly not negative ones. But the experience my family had on account of Jan Nix -now six months ago, but still palpable- was every parent's worst nightmare. I made an innocent phone call to set up an appointment for me and my three month old daughter. Based on a few minutes exchange, never having ever laid eyes on me or my child, Jan Nix called DFPS (CPS). Her unwarranted and irresponsible action launched a six week long investigation that was the most terrifying and traumatic experience of my life. PARENTS BEWARE! Jan Nix is no respecter of family rights. She does not value a mother's proficiency in making medical decisions for her children. Both my advocate and myself tried to reach out to Jan Nix with the intention of offering her the benefit of the doubt that she just needed education into what happens when a DFPS report is made. She hung up. I have waited many months to post this review. My only reason for posting is for concern for other… families.
