Dr. Jan August Van Ravesteyn, MD

Worst doctor I have ever seen. Not only did he refuse to do an annual comprehensive blood work for me, as he thought it was only waste of money, but he also was acting unprofessionally. He asked me very personal questions unrelated to health. It was my first time and last time visiting this doctor.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Van for 12 years and the care we receive has always been excellent! I've been what you might call a paranoid mommy through the years and generally a bit neurotic about health issues but he has always been very patient with me and he takes time every time to listen and we've always appreciated his sense of humor.. it's always been clear that he really cares about his patients and to me that sets him apart from many other more harried physicians!! I couldn't be more pleased with the care we receive and the office staff is great too!!! *****

My dad is a patient of Dr. Van and has had wonderful care from him. We went through a roller coaster of health issues for a couple months and Dr. Van was very thorough to diagnose and treat the problems and keep my dad at ease. He even called after hours to check on him on a couple of occasions, which we really appreciated. I highly recommend him. His nurse, Keesha and receptionist, Michelle are also great!

I took my elderly mother to see Dr. Van Ravesteyn for an initial physical evaluation. He was the most likeable and caring physician that I have seen ever! He was thorough with his examination and diagnosis;even spending extra time consulting with my mother and myself. The office staff was very nice and very professional. Michelle took the time to schedule follow-up labs and tests for my mother, including calling for in-home nursing care. I liked Dr. Van Revesteyn so much that my whole family will be transferring to his practice!

If I was as 'in control' (for lack of a better expression) as you'd like, there'd hardly be a need for your services.
