Dr. Jana Kim Rasmussen, MD

After many visits to several plastic surgeons in the area, I chose Dr. Rasmussen. Beyond her impressive credentials and obvious professional qualities, she truly offers an individual and tailored approach to each patient and is genuinely concerned to achieve the desired results. Dr. Rasmussen listened to my areas of concerns and offered very detailed and thorough explanations of my options, as well as the benefits and potential risks of each procedure. I went ahead to combine several non-invasive procedures – with very limited downtime - that addressed my issues and provided very fast and impressive improvements. Dr. Rasmussen made sure I was comfortable during the treatments (topical anesthetic), took the time to insure she achieved the discussed goals and followed up to confirm I was happy with the results. She is a genuine perfectionist! When I returned home, I was greeted by compliments (you look luminous, you look relaxed, you look rested) and questions (who is… responsible for that glow? what is your secret?). I look younger, rejuvenated yet natural and myself. No exaggeration. I have had two series of interventions with Dr. Rasmussen, and despite living in Belgium, will continue to travel to Palm Beach to entrust my looks to her.

Dr Rasmussen is a perfectionist, and did an excellent job removing the basal cell carcinoma from my forehead with a barely noticeable scar when healed. She has removed 7 or 8 from my face during the past 15+ years, and I have ALWAYS been happy with the results. No one else will ever touch my face! Thank you Dr Rasmussen!

I went to Dr. Rasmussen to fix a problem left by another physician. She was compassionate and patient, called after every procedure and returned all calls. She helped me take a slow path rather than push me into doing anything that could have made the situation worse even though I wanted to solve it all at once. Her work is excellent and there are no surprised. I wish I had gone to her first.

Dr. Rasmussen was wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable and kind. I waited far too long to do this surgery, but I'm glad I waited for the best. She is meticulous in her work and it shows. I am so pleased with the results and there were no surprises. The procedure and recovery was exactly as she outlined, so I knew what to expect and was calm throughout the entire process. A direct contract to the anxious feeling I had when I first walked into her office. She is a gem and gave me a new feeling about myself at age 59.

My experience with Dr. Rasmussen has been rewarding and enabled me to look like I feel. She didn't lead me to have unrealistic expectations and her manner is meticulous and exacting -- just what anyone would want in a plastic surgeon. Someone once said that as we get older we are more like an older model car -- we may still be classy, but we need periodic maintenance every now and then to keep us going and looking good. I'm 79 years old, but no one knows that except my family and I definitely look younger -- (someone guessed my age at 62 the other day.) Dr. Rasmussen has given me a definite advantage and I highly recommend her expertise.
