Summary
I was born and raised in a small town in northern Michigan. Although I have lived in Seattle for 25 years, I am still a bit of a Midwestern girl. I have two wonderful almost-grown children and a menagerie of pets. I chose nursing as a career almost by accident, but when I discovered midwifery a few years later, I knew I had found my true calling. Helping women bring their babies into the world is the most rewarding and important work I can imagine.
