Dr. Jana Tomsky, MD

Great person, and not rushed at all. Seemed to be genuinely interested in us and the medical issues, and listened to all we had to say.

Listens and is very helpful

Dr. Tomsky is a really good doctor who takes time to listen and is a really good doctor.

Changing doctors is always difficult. My last MD recommended Dr. Tomsky when I moved, so I was happy to not start cold. Well cold was what greeted me in a sterile waiting room in a non-descript strip mall, with staff who were cold to the point of indifference. Dr. Tomsky was polite and professional, but seemed in somewhat of a hurry to get me out. She did not follow up with the care plan of my prior MD. I am paying privately to see an old MD to bridge me until I can find someone better, even though I pay $1760 per month for insurance. My HMO will not let me see my old MD as she is more than 30 miles from my new residence, so I am driving and paying privately. The ramifications of how Dr. Tomsky is unwilling to follow through or provide appropriate referrals elsewhere (which is assuredly her right, and was requested) puts me in a position of potentially being hospitalized.
