In 1995, Dr. Sayyed received her certification in phlebotomy and EKG from Mandl College in New York, NY. In 1995-6, Dr. Sayyed went to pursue her Masters in Clinical and Cognitive Psychology at NYU. Dr. Sayyed wanted to learn more about Integrative Medicine, Naturopathic Medicine, and Chiropractic. So, Dr.Sayyed worked in Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx in the ER and translator in Arabic and Spanish. Dr. Sayyed also had a second job working as an advertiser/marketer. Dr. Janan Sayyed then decided to enroll in Naturopathic Medicine because her mom is an inspiration to her and always believed in Holistic and Preventive Medicine. Dr. Janan Sayyed has taken extensive seminars and fellowships of Post-Graduate training in Cognitive Psychology, Clinical Nutrition /Homeopathy /Amino Acid Therapy for ADD, Autism, Depression, Anxiety, Post-trauma stress, and Stress-Management and Breathing Exercises and Meditation.
