Dr. Jane Crittenden Bowman, MD

Arrogant and uncaring

Dr. Bowman is one of the best OB/GYN's the state of Utah has to offer. She is amazing with her patient's and her staff members. She takes the time and does thorough exams, and makes sure all your questions are answered. She is amazingly patient, and goes beyond just being a Dr. in her care of patients. I would gladly recommend her to anyone, and I would gladly wait hours to have an appointment with her.

I was degraded and attacked by Dr. Bowman for choices I have made regarding my birth that should not have influenced the way she treated me as a patient. I could hardly get two words in without her tearing me down. She was very passive aggressive in making me feel extremely small. Very unfortunate experience.

She is very knowledgeable and she apparently knows it. Her bedside manner is the worst of any medical professional I've ever seen.

I was totally brushed off after they supposedly found "nothing" in my results. I was given no suggestions or follow up advice to try and diagnose my problem. I was never called by the actual doctor to discuss my results but had to talk to one of the assistants.Very disappointing, what a waste of money.

The waiting area has absolutely know kid-friendly material and they have signs up saying not to bring your kids, but I had no idea until I came in for my appointment and the wait time was SO LONG it was a nightmare. Absolutely no kid friendliness, which was unexpected because the other side of the hospital is SO kid friendly! Dr. Bowman herself seemed knowledgeable and helpful with questions except for clarification - she sorta mumbled some answers once and a while and I wasn't sure what she was saying. The staff was disorganized. They didn't have me give urine until after the appointment was practically over and then it was an afterthought like, oh yeah, we haven't got that yet! They also sent me down to the lab to get my blood sample because no one felt confident when I told them I was nervous because I had tough veins and my history is at least three tries with nurses at OB offices. So I was at the office for a total of three hours because of an extra last minute appointment… with the ultrasound office next door to their office. The wait time was ridiculous and crazy, and the entire experience felt awkward because of the disorganized time-management during the appointment. It might be because Riverton hospital is rather new, but it was still strange.

I would recomend her to anyone I almost died with my first child from Preenclamcia "toxima" when I found out I was pregnant again I was scared Jane monitored every move I made when I showed symtoms and my proteins and Blood pressure were going up she did not hesitate she induced as soon as she could I nor my 2nd born would have made it with out her.

great doctor but ceo and office manager are crooked. would stay with doctor but will not while she has ceo and office manager in her office.

Dr. Bowman is professional, intelligent and uncommonly kind. She is patient and takes the time to really listen to what I tell her. She lets me ask all the questions I want and is very empathetic. he is open-minded and non-judgemental. She genuinely cares about helping her patients and practices the art of healing with compassion.
