Dr. Jane Susan Cohen, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. Cohen for several years. She is, bar none, the best general practitioner I have ever had. Her practice runs smoothly, she is kind, empathetic and gets to the heart of what is wrong with you every time. Her referrals are spot on. She takes the time to understand you holistically, so she can prescribe exactly the right thing. I can not think of ever going to another doctor here in South Florida. Ten stars if you had them!

I have been seeing Dr. Jane for 20+ years. I have followed her from Miami Heart to Mt Sinai. I moved to Palm Beach County 13 years ago and still drive to Miami to see her because no one else compares. She is so thorough and responsive...what we all wish every Dr. would be. She is the best.

Dr. Cohen is like no other best doctor I have ever met !

She totally ignored a result from my lab tests that almost caused me to lose my vision. I had severe headaches, vision was a little blurry and had some nausea. She gave me a flu shot, medicine for the nausea (which causes headaches) and ignored a lab test result that was almost 100 points OVER the range. Another Doctor on call diagnosed it over the phone and called in a medication that I needed to start immediately. She is truly the most negligent doctor I have ever seen. Then on my report, she had so many things wrong due to not listening to anything I was saying about my health history, etc. Truly the worst!

I had the unfortunate luck to pluck the name of this doctor out of my provider's list ... She steadfastly refused to listen to my syptoms and resolutely believed every symptom (including some she made up right in front of me) was GI-related. In fact, when I complained of reoccuring pelvic pain following the birth of my son, she took an x-ray of my GI tract and tried to convince me that the pain I was having was gas and stool. Great, except that at the time of the appointment I wasn't having pain so even if there was gas and stool in my intestines, it wasn't painful. However, she wouldn't listen and insisted that I had irritable bowel syndrome. After several visits, at which I was ridiculed and treated in a condescending nature, I switched to a new doctor who was able to appropriately diagnose and treat my non-GI issues. Be warned, she pretends to listen, but creates intestinal fantasies in her head.

I've been with her nine years. She is professional and caring. Highly recommend.
