Dr. Jane Irene Lamp, MD

DR. Lamp has been our family doctor for many years. Dr. Lamp took care of my mother and my wife and my self. I had a problem with my BP and Dr. lamp worked with me till it was controlled and still is. Always get follow up calls to chevk and see how I am doing. I am well satisfied with my treatment from Dr. Lamp and her staff.

Felt like she didn't listen to me, was NOT friendly (nice MAYBE but not personable), laughed when I asked questions and made me feel very little and stupid

She was extremely rudy. I have never felt more uncomfortable. Needless to say I sit never ever be back??

She is thorough and effective. When my cardiologist had trouble getting my blood pressure under control, Dr. Lamp took over and found an effective combination of treatments. She is a good listener. She keeps our histories up to date and in compliance with best practices and Medicare recommendations. She also works well with our other doctors.

Arrogant, bossy and overbearing attitude. The doctor rarely sees you. Condescending attitude. Talks down at you. She is interested only in how much money she can milk from your insurance. Find a better doctor (it should be easy!)

I find Dr. Lamp a warm and caring doctor and seems to always listen and never rushes things. She always makes me feel so at ease. The same can be said for her staff. I always look forward to my visits for it is always a pleasant experience.

This doctor never diagnosed me with something but yet the diagnosis was in my medical records. The only reason I knew this is because I was seeking new medical insurance and they requested my medical records. When I called to complain that I had a misdiagnosis in my records I was told that Dr. Lamp would call me. She did, and with an attitude. Basically told me that I must have been the one that said I had high blood pressure when I first starting going to the practice. I have never had, nor has my blood pressure been high. Long story short, Dr. Lamp is rude and when confronted as to how something could be put into my medical record that didn't exist she told me I needed to find a new medical provider. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, AND DON'T GO TO THIS DOCTOR. (Not only is she rude, but her staff is also)

Totally disappointed. I made a doctors appointment, but because the doctor is so busy, i had to see the nurse. This was my first mistake. So i go in for a skin irritation around my earlobe and I am told by the nurse that she was going to prescribe me an antibiotic and a cream with a steroid in it. So as I was leaving I was told the prescriptions would be called in. Mistake number 2. So I went to the pharmacy after work as my appoint was at 9 am, I assumed my prescriptions would be ready. Mistake number 3. Apparently someone in Dr. Lamps office did not check to see if the prescriptions had transmitted or not, and they had not. So I called Dr. Lamp's office again and they called it in again. So I go again to pick up my prescription only to find out they only called in one of the two prescriptions. So I called again and was told to get an over the counter cream. I told the person answering the phone that the nurse said she was prescribing a cream with a steroid in it for my… ear. She told me no, that I was supposed to get something over the counter. To which I explained to her and had already explained to the nurse that I had already tried that and it did not work. To which she told me that the nurse had already left for the day, at 1:00 pm. So I called again today and was told I needed to be seen again. Why? So you can not prescribe what I need again but still take my money? Thanks but no thanks. If you can't get it right the first time I am certainly not going back to see you. Any other doctor would gave just called in the prescription that he said he was going to call in. When I asked what the reason was for not giving me the prescription they could not give me an answer. So now, almost a week later my ear is still red, irriated, oozing and itchy. So thank you for absolutely nothing but for taking my money and not helping me. This is what is wrong with Healthcare nowadays. I wonder if Dr. Lamp knows that this is going on in her office?
