Dr. Jane Kamwah Louie, MD

I had a PCP visit and labs for one of my medications came out high. I had concerns and heard back after a state holiday which was no issue. She said the number was not to be worried about however I was still not feeling right. I asked for new labs to be taken she said she did not believe it was her issue and to contact my PCP as the labs were fine. I made an appointment with my PCP but I could not get an appointment for 8 days within that time I wanted answers and was feeling worse. I went to 1 ER and they got blood results that one of two med levels was slightly high. I advised Dr. Louie of the number and she said wait take 1 less pill the next morning. Well I was still not feeling well and went to NW Hospital a few days later. They as a hospital were wonderful in ER and also admitting me. They took a battery of tests but it seemed Dr. Louie’s name never came up or did she visit in my 2 day stay. I am looking for someone who will listen to me not say no or wait until you see your… PCP.

Be prepared to wait as she is rarely on time. I have waited 30-60 minutes on average. Not a bad doctor, friendly and professional.

See someone else - she does not care for your health. Trust me.

Dr. Louie was the third neurologist I saw in almost fifteen years of migraine disease. She immediately diagnosed me acurately and prescribed a course of the treatment that was extremely helpful. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Dr.Louie is one of the best doctor's I've ever seen. She cares about her patients and has a great bed side manner. Out of all the doctor's I've seen over the last 20yrs she is the only one that has always been right on time for appointments. I had to put down a 5min wait time cause there was no answer to click "never waitef" that kinda shows that doctor's are always late. I'm sure I will have to wait at sime point but so far Ive seen her 4 times & haven't as of yet.

She was prompt, she listened and she was very considerate of my age of 92 years. I thought she seemed very smart and did a thorough exam and ordered the tests needed for follow-up. Before we left the office, we had our future appointment and all tests scheduled at a convenient time for me.
