Dr. Jane Marie Nicholson, MD

Dr. Nicholson has been so effective in helping me understand menopause as well as uterine fibroids and a polyp. I feel so confident in her knowledgeable care. She took a patient, effective approach. She was so skilled and swift in the procedures, and knowledgeable about the issues I'm facing. When so many docs rush to prescribe hormone replacement, I appreciated Dr. Nicholson's framing of HRT within a natural lifecycle and external "life stuff" that can exacerbate the symptoms of menopause.

She was extremely rushed. Said, “I have two patients waiting.” Made us feel like she was doing a favor by answering questions. Seemed unprepared with fully understanding family health history. We jumped through hoops to get an appointment and were quickly pushed out of the appointment. The genetic counselor was nice.

We had had two still births and a miscarriage so my OB recommended we go see Dr Nicholson. I was a little apprehensive when I read some of the reviews and when we arrived to the office it was a bustling place with a lot of patients and nurses everywhere. It was a little overwhelming at first coming from a small town place. The minute Dr. Nicholson walked in the room I was put at ease. She was very empathetic to our situation and took her time going over every possible detail. I never felt rushed and she made sure she explained everything well and left no questions from us unanswered. Our issue seems to not be a genetic one so she was not able to help us in that aspect, but we appreciated all the time she took with us and her knowledge so very much. She did help get us started on another path to pick another brain so to speak as we do not want to leave any stone unturned. I just can’t say enough how much we appreciated her time, knowledge, and empathy.

Poor attention paid to problem. Lacks empathy, very dismissive.
