Dr. Jane Marie Parks, MD

Dr. Parks joined Athens Pulmonary in 1998 after completing a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She completed her Medical school at University of Alabama at Birmingham and then her residency at University of Washington. She has been a leader with medical staff affairs at Athens Regional Medical Center. She has been board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Sleep medicine. She is a member of the American Thoracic Society, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and American College of Chest Physicians. She has active privileges at Athens Regional Medical Center, Saint Mary’s Hospital, and Landmark. Her interests include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer, asthma and pulmonary rehabilitation.
