Dr. Skelton has tended to me for several years. Her professionalism is exemplary. She is not only knowledgeable but compassionate. She takes the time to answer all questions and make patients feel comfortable in a field filled with apprehension.

Uncaring; uninterested. Turns patients over to med assistants, nurse practitioners. If they have a problem, she dumps them at door of the hospital emergency room.

After having a small breast cancer removed and having the radiology done, I saw Dr.Skelton. Being a healthy 44-yo individual my whole life, without any chronical or genetic problem, without family history of any kind of cancer, I decided at this point in life try not to take medication with tons of side effects, but to adjust my lifestyle. This obviously frustrated Dr. Skelton. She started by telling me that I was not bright (thank you very much). Not a good way to establish trust. In the end she said this (verbatim) "My only goal for the today's meeting was to convince you to take pills. Since you chose not to do it, there is nothing else we can talk about today. Maybe we should meet again in 3-4 months, after you do some more research." For that I was charged a copay. Of course, I chose not to schedule anymore appointments with her. Why pay for being judged and insulted? So she had her staff call me and give me day and time of my next appointment in 4 months. Nope, I am not going… there. She is good for the people with the advanced and/or genetic, and/or reoccuring form of cancer, who definitely should go on the pill. But an oncologist who didn't order blood work, colonoscopy, brain scan, etc. - nothing to make sure there is no other cancer in a patient; but sees her job only to push pills... not a good doctor, IMHO.

I went to see dr Skelton for possible treatment. I found her extremely compassionate and easy to discuss things with. I would recommend her although I ultimately didn't get my treatment in this facility's as I wanted a more private environment

Would not consider going elsewhere, in part because Dr Skelton has demonstrated her willingness to collaborate with the other doctors I have brought into my care team. No demonstration of ego, of speaking to me as though I would not understand the terminology.

Dr. Skelton keeps current in her field, answers questions, and is the most caring, empathetic doctor that I have ever met.
