Dr. Jane Unaeze Iluba, MD

Horrible. She was bullish, pushy, didn't care to listen to a patient's perspective (who might understand his body and his health a little more clearly), and her bedside manner was not a shining example of the profession. I expected much better from someone so capably trained and skilled. After stating that I was on a budget for doing the expensive Moh's surgery and concerned about added costs, I was later given a take-home kit of surgical scissosrs, gauze, bandages, and a skin antibiotic to aid with healing. No follow up appointment to help guage condition or improvement was planned. I've never been so unheard or presented with such a limited option for post-treatment. Really? Is this how post-pandemic patients are treated today--given do-it-yourself post-surgery kits in order to self-treat surgery wounds and remove stitches at home? No follow up appointment to check on the health or healing of this patient was suggested or ordered. This experience was a nightmare.

I just had my second MOHS surgery with Dr Unaeze and highly recommend her. She is very skilled, compassionate, and kind. Her staff is superb also. I believe Dr Unaeze is an excellent surgeon.

Dr Unaeze handled my MOHS's surgery several years ago with skill and competence. She and her staff explained each step of the procedure allowing me to understand what was needed in the surgical process. After my longtime dermatologist retired I am very pleased to have found another doctor that I have confidence in!

Dr Unaeze performed Moh's surgery on my nose. She was wonderful. Her bed side manner was perfect, her follow ups after the surgery were appreciated, her competency is unquestionable, and she is a very nice lady besides.

Dr Unaeze did 3 different surgerys. She took a cancer from my forehead , my ankle, and my upper chest, and did an excellent job, and you can't even see the scars. I am very pleased & highly recommend her.

Dr.Jane is a wonderful surgeon and delightful lady, her bedside manner is exceptional! Mother had rather extensive surgery on her face near her eye and nose, as of 2 weeks after surgery you can barely tell where it was! Thank you Dr. Jane for your patience and wonderful work.

DR. Unaeze was very professional and courteous. I was apprehensive at first and she just set my mind as ease. Cut the cancer out and tested it and sewing it up in no time. My skin Dr. did not want to do surgery do to the cancer being close to my eye and recommended Dr. Unaeze. If I was to describe Dr. Unaeze using one word it would be (amazing). I would like to say I was so scared she had to cut the size of a fifty cent piece off my forehead to remove the cancer. After 6 weeks it looks amazing. I am thrilled With her work and her assistant was amazing also.

I regret very much my one and only appointment with Dr Unaeze as I will now live with 2 large circular scars on my face for the rest of my life. Aggressive and unnecessary punch biopsies were done on simple sun spots that I have had for over 20 years. Thankful that I did not allow her to do 5 punch biopsies on each spot as I would be severely disfigured - that was what she recommended. I felt rushed into the decision and was made to feel that this was an urgent matter. I will have completely unnecessary/deep scars on my face for the rest of my life and hope to save someone else from that experience by writing this review. Needless to say I have seen a different doctor for all follow up appointments.
