Dr. Janeen Rene Jordan, MD

She saved my dads life. My dad is an absolute menace with medical care professionals. He's stubborn and often foolish with his health choices. Dr. Jordan was not only kind and caring but as direct as possible with my dad. Something he respects and listens to. She spent hours in surgery saving my dads life and even had time to call me and let me know what was going on after surgery. My father was on the brink of death when we arrived at Halifax and Dr. Jordan is nothing short of a miracle worker. She's an amazing human and we are so thankful for her.

I am a physician treated by Dr. Jordan. She is passionate and caring. And, after reading these reviews, would say sometimes, misunderstood. She does not except complacency which makes the staff think she lacks compassion. It's the opposite. As one of the brightest, most academically successful physicians at UF, she doesn't allow any detail to go unnoticed. I would let Dr. Jordan care for my mother or ANY family in need including myself.

Horrible bedside manner

Dr. Jordan was very compassionate and attentive to me and my family during my hospitalization. Although, she was direct, she helped me to clearly understand my problem and the surgery required to help me. I would definitely go back to her for further care.

I can't believe they gave this woman an MD. When I asked questions about MY care she was very curt and acted as if she didn't have the time. Frankly, I don't think she knew what she was doing. As if that's not bad enough, her staff expressed similar sentiments - that she is rude and treats people poorly. Why anybody would go to a doctor who is neither knowledgeable nor professional is beyond me. I wouldn't waste my time with her again.

Our son developed abdominal pain while studying at University of Florida, and was treated by Dr.Jordan who diagnosed appendicitis.She is a very dedicated surgeon with an excellent bedside manner.

She was extremely rude and didn't take the time to explain what was going on with me. To be quite honest, I don't think she knew what was going on! And clearly she is hated by her staff, who she mistreated and largely ignored. Uncaring, rude, and not a good doctor - go somewhere else for your medical care!
