Dr Guyette is extremely thorough. You can tell she genuinely cares. I trust her, appreciate her and am so glad she is my PCP.

Dr Janel takes time to listen and get to know her patients. One year I was sick on my birthday and she sang me happy birthday. She also has an awesome voice. She is patient and efficient, gets to the problem if any and works on solving.

I have been going to Dr. Guyette for years and have always appreciated her - her thoroughness and wholistic approach. She is clearly very knowledgeable. But lately i have lost confidence in her and plan to shop for a new doctor. A year ago, she ordered an expensive MRI that turned out to be unnecessary and had even noted the wrong body area in the order, causing me to stop the radiologist mid-process to correct the order. Then any sort of follow up communication with her about my treatment needs was very cumbersome. I had to figure out my own course of treatment. Recently, I saw her for an infection and she was snarky and condescending when I tried to ask questions making me afraid to ask further questions. She is not usually like that, but the appt was very disconcerting. So these experiences have prompted me to look elsewhere now. PS. She's now practicing at Pacific Medical Group in N. Portland.

Dr. Guyette seems like a lovely and caring person. However, my experience with her has been less than stellar. Records weren't tracked, tests were forgotten and there was zero follow up on her side to actually write out the referral to a specialist that I needed to see. I have had to seek out test results, prompt her and her staff for results and referrals. Definitely not worth the hassle.

Dr. Guyette is a beautiful human being. She is soulful and gives you her full attention during appointments. Unfortunately, I decided to find a new doctor because Dr. Guyette is not very good about following up. I also felt that she didn't take the proper time to contemplate complaints or ailments to see if there was a larger issue or if I should be recommended to a specialist. After the same problems kept persisting, I decided I needed a different approach. As dedicated as she is in the 30 minute visit, its just not enough time to make a proper assessment.
