Dr. Janelle Laughlin, MD

Actually, she told me that I was wasting her time and that she had sick patients she could be treating instead of me. I was devastated. Fortunately, I found another Rheumatologist and have been getting the help I needed.

DR. Laughlin was not very kind or helpful to me. She came off very rude and indifferent in her overall assessment and recommendations. I do not recommend this doctor.

I had seen many doctors before finally getting connected with Dr. Laughlin. Her entire staff is friendly and answers questions in a timely matter. She listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. When she ran tests she made sure to cover everything in order to figure out what was going on. I felt like she's the only doctor that listened and took the time to help me. I would recommend her to anyone!!

Very rude staff. Wont take you if you don't have a diagnosis from another physician. My insurance states that I do not have to have a referral from an primary care physician to see this doctor. My husband needs help not a brush off and the extra expense of seeing another doctor just to be referred to them in the first place. I will tell all my friends with arthritis not to see this physician. He has already been diagnosed with RA...I dont need another doctor to tell me what I already know. My advise...find another rheumatologist

I was referred to Dr. Laughlin through a general physician at Carbon Valley Clinic. I began having lumbar pain (and radiating nerve pain) so severe that there were days I literally could not get out of bed; or I would be "stuck" in whatever position I was in at that moment; walking several feet was impossible due to pain (I was also "blacking out" and vomiting due to pain). I was also having pain and weakness throughout my entire body. I was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis about 13 years ago (by a different Rhuematologist); I also literally have zero discs left in lumbar spine, and scoliosis from lower thoracic into my lumbar spine . I waited in the examination room for 40 minutes while Dr. Laughlin lolly-gagged with associates about a bear in someone's yard; she then spent 7 minutes with me-she ordered two x-rays of my S.I. joints ; when I retuned for a follow-up she stated my S.I. joints look fine and that I have fibromyalgia; she also stated that there is nothing she can do for me… and that I need to figure out for myself what will help. ! I asked about physical therapy and she exclaimed "what do you want me to do? physical therapy on your entire body"? I found a wonderful Rheumatologist (after reading reviews here and at healthgrades) that had about a dozen x-rays performed and an MRI. I am taking a medication that helps with the nerve pain and I'm scheduled to see a Physiatrist; and a surgeon. Overall, Dr. Laughlin's demeanor, and lack of professionalism are appalling.

I found Dr. Laughlin to be refreshing! No waiting time and she was very interested in me and what my problems were. She addressed them thoroughly and gave me all the time I needed. She gave me reccommendations which I have followed through on and I could not be happier with the way I was treated (like a human being) I feel that she cared and I wasn't just another appointment!

I seen Dr. Laughlin before she moved to Japan or China. Is she back now accepting patients? She was a awesum Dr. Can't wait to have her back
