I have been seeing Dr. Chin for 4 years now as I have follicular lymphoma. She is knowledgeable and compassionate and listens to me. I feel confident when seeing her.

Doctor Chin has been seeing my wife for over two years. I have found her to be knowledgeable and thorough. She anticipates well and is ALWAYS prepared to discuss my wife's present situation. She has stepped forward more than once when it was necessary to make sure my wife is getting the best treatment.

She does not explain test result. She does not explain the details of my condition.

I too am an iron deficient patient. Although the staff in the back that administers transfusions is top notch, the doctor is not. I went for my very first iron transfusion, scared to death, and had an allergic reaction. Nurses took great care and responded very quickly. Upon leaving my appointment, I walked right by Dr. Chin and smiled. Never once did she come back to check on me, say good-bye or ask are you feeling better as I walked by. I thought I was having a heart-attack, my blood pressure flew through the roof, my throat started closing...and she said and did nothing. I went back for a follow up appointment. Was told my appointment was at a certain time. Arrived 10 minutes early, sat in the waiting room for 1 hour. Went up to the desk and asked how much longer and was told I arrived 45 minutes early for my appointment. Could you have not said something to me when I checked in? I arrived at the time I was told to. When I asked how much longer I was told shes running… late. So they were just going to let me sit in the waiting room forever. My time is just as valuable as Dr. Chin's. I work so that I have good insurance so that I can receive top notch care. I then proceed to ask if I can at least have my labs drawn and get the shot Im supposed to and I would just reschedule the appointment with Dr. Chin. The receptionist gets me into the lab, they draw blood...and I said I needed to receive my vitamin shot as well. In which they replied, okay, I will send someone in right away. After waiting another 30 minutes, I walked out. At this point it was 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I've waited two days for someone to call me to apologize, give me my lab results, schedule another appointment and nothing. Today I requested my records to be transferred to another doctor whom Im confident will actually care about me, respect my time, and treat me as Im the most important person to her...unlike anything Dr. Chin is capable of doing.

Dr. Chin diagnosed my ITP while I was pregnant with my second child. She has shown nothing but care and concern for not only my health, but also for that of my unborn son. I still continue to see her, and have follow up care for various treatments I have received (and still receive).
