Dr. Janet Davis Larson, MD

She caused all of my health problems (kidney failure, high bp, stroke and heart problems). She also almost caused my baby to be still born.

I've been reading these comments and am astounded at the negative referrals. I have always been treated with care & respect by Dr Davis & all her staff. I wonder if the "distracted, spaced-out" attitude is due to Dr Davis high work/stress load & her impressive amount of knowledge. She has been very thorough & caring with me. Performing four cerclages and now seeing her with my fifth pregnancy. Nurse Aretha is always jolly & helpful. She returns my calls promptly & listens to my concerns. Office visits are long. (3-4 hours) but they are thorough. Any of you patients going in there & trying to think you know more than Dr Davis are crazy & its no surprise you had a bad experience. She has been in succesfull practice for over 30 years with many satisfied patients & healthy babies! Thank you Dr Davis & all your staff for your wonderful care!

I have been neglected and my health and health of my child,got treated extremely poorly.aritha nurse kept saying I was trying to micro-manage my pregnancy,because I was the only one keeping my baby alive.then they wanted to refer me out because I had questions,of why I'm not on thyroid hormone,being I have hoshimotos and only half a thyroid.larson use to be a really good dr,but I believe the mistake of letting unqualified staff take over her patience was a down fall.i had to go to the hospital and all they ask me to do since pregnancy is take blood work,to see if my levels keep doubling .no concern of my health or baby's what so ever.aritha is extremely nasty.very unethical practice !! I have been more stress then ever enough to make me miscarriage,and the pharmacy was the one to tell me they were referring me out because,I had to many questions and wanted my medicine compounded in safe form since I have a gluten allergy and produce anti body's.been in hospital yesterday for… contraction like pain which I brought to nurses attention who sujjested is merely probably gas!!! Horrible my husband wants to take legal actions.one of the calls was on speaker as my husband listened in and was in shock.right now I just want to make it alive me and my child.but plz research before jumping into something.ive never seen the dr once ,only blood work!

The office staff in general was extremely nice, but Dr. Larson has to be the most insensitive doctor I have ever met. The sono tech was great, and very sweet, but when Dr. Larson came in, she looked at me maybe 3 time the entire 45 minutes she was in there. She also seemed to be educating a med student rather than actually talk about my babies possible problems. She did not give me straight answers, and seemed very distant and lost in space even. I asked her questions that she actually ignored and seemed like she didnt hear me. I am very dissapointed but at least I was only seeing her as a peace of mind referral from my primary OB. I had a slew of blood drawn, and was rushed out of the office and never got a f/u. I had to call the office back to get the f/u. All in all I hope that nobody has to feel like they are INVISIBLE while in that room with her.

I would never recommend anyone to Dr. Larson. She is the most insensitive Doctor i ever delt with and she now has a NEW nurse named Aretha who is even worse than the last one. She never returns calls and i heard her talking badly about another patient while i was getting blood drawn which i think is completely unacceptable!!! Im fron out of town with a high risk pregnancy and they refuse to work around my schedule for an apppointment on top of everything else. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR OVERALL BAD EXPERIENCE!!

Janet D. Larson is a horrible Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist, and often claims to be an Infertility Specialist, when she's NOT.. I unfortunately was a patient of hers too, and I stopped seeing her because of medical negligence committed by her, & the rude/unprofessional tactics; that her poor excuse for a medical staff did to me, & others for complaining about Larson's lousy medical services!! My suggestion to others seeking Fetal Medical Care- DO NOT PICK JANET LARSON, (or any doctor connected to that sorry Medical College of Georgia) STAY AWAY!!! Those who need a Professional Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist, keep looking & check for any complaints before selecting him or her (if they have complaints against them, chances are that those ARE bad doctors!!).

Whenever I called with a question or concern, the staff made me feel stupid for calling. I avoided calling because I didn't want to feel stupid. I had to look for a long time before I finally found their qualifications. They need to make them more obvious. They were far to arrogant to get any sort of outside advice, even though they knew they should. I was hoping to see someone that considered my safety more important than always having an answer. They would not stop trying to make me take a type of medication that I knew didn't work for me. I have taken it in the past and yet they tried to push it on me relentlessly. I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to my situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me or what I had been through.

I would recommend her to anyone. She was recommended to me and this is my third pregnancy. The office is very thorough and I have not had treatment like this at my previous doctor. Shes sweet and her new nurse is also

I am astounded by the knowledge Dr. Larson has -- I had a lot of questions, and she answered everything I cared to know. All of the staff were very sweet, from the receptionist to the nurse to the ultrasound tech. It's a long office visit, but they are very thorough! Highly recommend them.
