Dr. Janet Hyun Lee, DO

I've seen Janet Lee for a physical exam once and she seems like a good doctor. The office and surrounding area is nice and clean. However, I do have a major complaint with her office's billing and ability to clarify what could be charged as an extra cost during a routine physical exam. The reason I say this is because I received a bill for $142 for a 15 minute follow-up call for my physical. What was supposed to be a routine physical covered by insurance with an expected out of pocket cost of $0 ended up ballooning to the billed cost of $142. When I called them, they explained that follow-up calls are considered the same as in-office visits and are charged in a similar manner. Neither during the original physical nor during the follow-up call was this mentioned. Had I known this, I wouldn't have bothered with the follow-up call at all. I've called to ask why I couldn't have been warned about this, but I have consistently been brushed off because "this is done like this everywhere."… When I have called their office to resolve this issue with my insurance, I have been met with impatience and shortness from their senior staff. To make matters worse, I received another bill for $140 from their contracted lab, Quest Diagnostics, because the wrong lab test codes were submitted to my insurance. This is no criticism of Janet Lee as a doctor, but I have only had 1 visit with Janet Lee's office and yet, I already regret it. I am still trying to resolve bills with their office. If this is my experience as a first-time patient for a routine visit, I'm not sure I could recommend coming here. (To give their side, their office did offer a $40 courtesy credit for the bill. However, I would still be covering the majority of a bill that I neither was warned about nor would have agreed to had I known the full context.)

I went to Dr. Janet H lee for the 1st time based on her overall that she was good i went there and i felt that she was rushing did not take her time with me, also she made me feel bad about my diagnosis instead of being compassion about it. After that i get this billed with all this different diagnosis i did not even ask to get tested for those and here comes a big billed i was pit off plus all those charges was because she did not put the right diagnosis so pretty much she wants your money so be careful please do not go there she is careless about you and your health and cares about money.

Helped me when other doctors coulnt.

The doctor is so rude, no compassion, no bedside manner and not able to work with patient to figure out what could help the patient properly.

The doctor is very rude and unwillingness to listen to my neeeds as a patient I am entitle to my opinion on the meds that She prescriped me. When I told her that she was not willing to listen to me and all the meds she gave me had a very severe side effects she got angry and I was getting irritated due to lack of sleep. The med she gave me made me could not sleep for a week. She was not willing to calm me down instead she was getting angrier than the patient. She told me to get out of her consultation room. I walked out finding the better doctor. Good luck doc! you are still young but your doctor career is over.

Better than my previous concierge doctor.

Had shortness of breath. She figured it out and got me back on the golf course in no time.

I have been going to Dr. Lee for 5 years as my primary physician. She is up to date, listens attentively, makes good referrals when necessary and best of all, I've been able to get an appointment in one day on several occasions for flu and other viruses. She is one busy doctor for a reason...she's good!
