Dr. Janet Beth Lefkowitz, DO

LOVE HER!!!! She is hands down one of the best doctors I have ever seen. She doesn't tell what you want to hear she tells what you NEED to hear....She has always been up front with me about my health and WHAT I need to do to fix it! I appreciate her and her solid advice!!!

All I know about her is that she did my C Section at Kent County Hospital, because my baby was born on Sunday and my doctor wasnt in, and I have to say my scar looks outstanding and I had no complications because of the way she did the stitches, where as friends of mine have had staples and stitches falling out, you cant even see mine! If I have another baby Im going to her for the surgery.

Dr Janet cared for me through both my first delivery and cancer diagnosis. She is a caring sensitive doctor who knows her stuff AND can speak nicely to her patients. She does come right out and "tell it like it is" - but what do you want a doctor for? I have already recommended her to my friends.

This doctor is not someone you would goto to feel comfortable about yourself or your pregnancy. I told her about a few issues I was having and instead of running tests she told me that I would have to prove that I had these issues.....prove I have a UTI or Highblood pressure? This lady should not be caring for pregnant women.

She provided terrific care. And, her bedside manner was amazing. A terrific doctor who understands her patients.

Dr. Lefkowitz is OB and I have been with her for the past three years. She is very comfortable to be around and makes you feel at ease. I moved out of Coventry a year ago and refuse to find another doctor closer to my new location.

wonderful doctor, switched to her after the birth of my first son after having a horrible experiance with another doctor. she cared for me with my second pregnancy and was very caring and honest about my expectations and her abilities to deliver the birth i envisioned. overall a great doctor! the only problem i had was at one appointment when she was running behind because of a delivery that she had just come from.

if you expect a caring doctor with lots of help and support when your having your first child i would go elsewhere!! thanks to dr.lefkowitz's care my first pregnancy was more of a nightmare than a beautiful experience! she pretty much made me feel stupid for having any kind of questions or concerns and was more worried about what was convenient for her instead of what was best for me and my baby. when it came to my delivery it was another nightmare altogether. so if you want your birth and pregnancy to be a beautiful and enjoyable experience please please find another doctor! ive tried to warn many people and they dont listen to me and go anyway ive found myself saying i told you so when they tell me their horror stories!!
