Dr. Janet Elaine Macheledt, MD

Horrible bedside manner. I came into the ER for excruciating pain.. She told me that I could not be treated at MD Anderson, even though I am a patient there. She only gave me one pill of pain medication even though she originally told me I needed 3 days worth. Upon discharge I asked the nurse where my prescription was, and she said the doctor did not write one for me I asked to talk to the doctor again, and she told me that there is an opioid crisis in America and that she could not write me a prescription! are you kidding me! I don't even drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes, and I'm a working professional in excruciating pain... she just Shrugged her shoulders and told me oh well go see your doctor and walked out of the room.... Worst experience ever! I was at a loss for words and we'll take this case up with patient advocacy.

Just had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting Dr Janet Macheledt at MD Anderson in Houston. She should not be practicing in the ER or with oncology patients. Her bedside manner was atrocious. She was agressive. Verbally abusive and down right horrible. Run from this person!

She does not coordinate or communicate with your other doctors. Really caused me to get ill because of it.

Very satisfactory to excellent examination, review, and analysis of my 4 blood tests over 2013. Dr. M. listened to all my medical history, and asked relavent questions, which caused me to remember some important issues. Dr. M. gave me a referral for a possible related issue.

She did not answer questions. She was cold a aloof most of my visits.
