Janet Louise Motley

I have been here a few times (blue ridge pediatrics, where she is currently working) and never had any problems with any staff member or getting appropriate care, however, today I saw Janet Motley because I have been experiencing uncontrollable movements for months now and many people have seen me experience them to the point where I cannot even talk or walk, I caught one on video a few days prior and showed it to her during my appointment, she said, “considering you filmed this video yourself, some patients will make up symptoms” and scoffed while I was showing the video to her, she automatically assumed I was faking seizures even though there are many movement disorders people can have, some where they remain fully conscious, and literally hundreds of people have seen me get these movements and can vouch that I have been getting them for months. (We assumed they were tics and would go away, but they have been getting worse.) Why would she automatically assume im faking it and accuse… me of faking it to my face, even if she tried to say it politely? I asked if I should call my dad on the phone and she said she was busy with other patients, but that she would come back, slammed the door, and left. I understand she may have seen people faking symptoms in the past, but it is Incredibly unprofessional to automatically assume a patient is faking it off of one video, she didn't even ask me any questions about my symptoms.
