Dr. Janet Lynn Scholle, MD

Dr. Scholle is compassionate, very insightful, smart, and professional. She works hard to get you well. She explains things and doesn't over react. She sees every pt for an hour unlike most other psychiatrists who just see people for 10 min. and hand out meds. Her pts don't get hospitalized. She does not quit on pts. She helps you find your own strength.

Dr. Scholle is compassionate and honest. She also works her hardest to help you solve your problems. She spends a LOT of time during each appt., which no other psychiatrists do. She's a little old but still cool, like she knows good music and sports. She helps a lot.

Dr. Scholle is intelligent with meds, so she tries combinations until she finds success. She spends an hour with every patient each time, so she can best understand the person to help him or her. She is kind, professional, supportive, and not an ego-maniac. Her patients actually get well. She is by far the best psychiatrist in south FL.

Dr. Scholle has been treating me and my crazy family for more than 20 years. She is brilliant, compassionate, has amazing insight, supportive, and never gives up on us. She has saved our lives on more than one occasion. Unlike most of the doctors in PB County, she is not in it for the money but because she loves people and is gifted in helping them find wellness. I owe my life to her. She understands chemistry and works with medications without giving up. She is worth every dime you can pay her. You will find health again.

Was more than helpful with helping me with my son's recovery and went beyond most doctors would do

I saw Dr. Scholle today. She was actually waiting on me when I arrived so there was absolutely no wait time. It was my first appointment and the evaluation lasted 1 hour--which I think is good because it gave her time to ask the pertinent questions and get to know my situation. My insurance, Aetna, doesn't cover it (upfront) and she said that I probably should look into counseling. She was kind enough to make recommendations on other doctors that would be less expensive. She also made a recommendation for a Rheumatologist after I told her the bad experience I'd had with my past dr. She even provided a full month of samples, which was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely be visiting her again--even if I have to pay out of pocket.
