Janet Wei, MD, FACC

Dr. Janet Wei is a cardiovascular disease specialist who has been caring for patients with heart conditions for 19 years. She earned her medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School and completed both her residency and fellowship training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 2010 and 2015, respectively. Dr. Wei is board certified in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds the distinction of being a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). She provides care to patients in English.

Dr. Wei practices at the Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. She specializes in treating coronary artery disease and has particular expertise in heart disease affecting women. Her clinical focus includes addressing myocardial ischemia, a condition where the heart muscle doesn't receive adequate blood flow. Dr. Wei performs specialized cardiac imaging procedures including contrast echocardiography and …transthoracic echocardiograms to evaluate heart function.
