Dr. Janette A Black, DDS

Dr. Janette Black born and raised directly across the sound from Fairfield, she received a B.S. in Psychology from SUNY Stony Brook and a D.D.S. from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. She came to Connecticut to further her education at UCONN Health Center by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. She is committed to continually furthering her education to provide excellent preventive, restorative, implant, and cosmetic care for her patients. She is also certified in Invisalign and Six Month Smiles Orthodontic treatment.Dr. Black is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is also an active member of both the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Bridgeport Dental Association where she has served on various boards.
 She is also a member of Fairfield University’s Sports Medicine Staff.She and her husband Michael (a Fairfield Prep graduate) reside with their daughter Makenna in Fairfield. Her …extracurricular activities include running, hiking, and skiing.
