Dr. Janette Torres Cruz, MD

This doctor is the worst doctor I have encountered yet. She should not be working in healthcare period. She believes her opinion is superior to all doctors before her and she will undo everything in your records to prove her point. She currently is working at the VA clinic in KISSIMMEE FL and it shows that the VA once again went for the lowest bid on its' doctors. STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR MENTAL HEALTH. She does not listen to any concerns but rather seems to already made up her mind before you have a chance to truly speak. I can't even find her license number on the FL Medical license portal. I had to watch my loved one have a mental breakdown because of this woman. If you have suffered because of her as well, please let the medical board and the VA know as well so she can be held accountable.

I have been a patient of Dr Cruz for over 10 years and she does an execllent job of helping the veteran get to the state of mind that is most managable. She takes her time and really cares about the treatment she gives each veteran. I now live in Thailand so it is difficutl to see her on regular basis but I keep referring to her notes and quotes when I need to smile. Also have an American DR. Physic who lives here in Thailand with me so I can talk to him. The one thing that effects me the most is the flashbacks and nightmares I suffered in Vietnam. These events tend to really effect my sleep and i notice now that I am getting older it is much more noticible for myself and those around me, I wake up several times a night in swet sheets and a very clamy skin. Medicine does not seem to work at any leverl but I refuse to drink so I pass out. The Visions and flash backs are very vivid and detailed with burning flesh and gun powder. I am usually awake by 5 am just looking… arond to make sure no one is near by. I just want to be able to get this into my record with the VA incase something happens while I am here. Thankyou F. the best human being ive ever see as my Doctor,for so many years, she is a professional and caring person that I've ever met ,she's courteous in treating me as a patient and im sure she is one of the best in her field, in the name of all veterans and myself thanyou so much and continue doing excellent job, we need you.
