Dr. Janey Earley Maki, MD

Dr. Maki is extremely intelligent & well spoken. She is so kind & has never once made me feel rushed during an appointment. She helped me navigate miscarriages with kindness & compassion. She has delivered my 3 babies & I could not be more impressed with the level of care I have received. She has been the greatest blessing.

Dr Maki goes far above and beyond. She saved my life and my babies life during delivery. She remained calm but was a huge advocate for me. Then she went out of her way to check on us in the NICU. She was great throughout my pregnancy. This doctor just does not miss a thing.

I have had several complications during my 1st preg following a miscarriage and dr maki and her staff have been short and impatient during it all. They dont listen when i call about something im not sure about. I will never recommend her and after delivery will never see her again.

Dr. Maki is a wonderful Dr. She was not my OB for my first born but she delivered him via emergency C-section. She came in the suit I was in a checked me and then left the floor, when her staff called she came literally running back to me. When the whole room was going crazy around me and I had no idea what was going on Dr. Maki, stopped and calmly explained what was happening and what they were going to do and asked if I was ok with the plan. Because of her quick actions, she saved my sons life and I will always be grateful to her for that. She was my OB for my second child and when I had a some difficulties post partum she held my hand and navigated me through my healing. She saw me in office every week for 3 months post partum and was supportive and caring. She became more than my dr. she became my friend. She has an amazing bedside manner and such a caring heart. I am thankful and lucky I had her as a dr.

She has a decent bedside manner and will make it to most, if not all your OB appointments. However, if you deliver when she is not on call or scheduled you may not have her there. She will perform the "Standard of Practice" in all situations. Via Christi core values are to uphold patient centered care. Patient centered care means that you practice according to each individual patient's needs. You as a patient must be proactive and persistent in obtaining results from labs and other studies. The office did not call me after results showed I had a critically low value, the low value was only brought to light when I asked the results of the test. The office is very very busy. Most conversations with Maki are 2-5 minutes. The best things about her office are Faith and Mandi (you ladies are darling and truly appreciated by me.)

I am a survivor of sexual assault and Dr. Maki and staff have consistently treated me with care despite my jumpy nature at being so exposed. She was wonderful for the birth of our first child as well. She took the time to educate us each week giving both myself and my husband things to do to prepare. We are so grateful for her help as we transitioned as parents.

She is awesome...I have already recommended her to my friends...They thanked me...I highly recommend Dr.Maki to everyone..
