Dr. Janey Pratt

I have lost count of the number of times that Janey Pratt has saved MY life and the lives of people I begged her for referrals for. I have never in my life met such a compassionate, brilliant, careful, scientist and doctor. She INVENTED a surgery that saved my life and that surgery took 11. 5 hours. Everyone else gave up on me but Janey Pratt. She, like all doctors, must have patients whose hands slip away but I will bet my life that seh has done every thing she can to keep them alive. There is no one in the world like her. If you are LUCKY enough to get her as your doctor, you could not be in better hands. She is the best there is in the world....and I have been to many of them so actually I know she is the finest doctor there is. Thank you.

DR PRATT IS THE BEST DOCTOR THAT I HAVE EVER HAD...

I was suffering from weight loss surgery complications for almost a yr. My original surgeon gave up on me & for months I searched for a new dr but nobody had the ability to help me. I am so thankful I finally found Dr Pratt! I brought along my records/scans & in 30 seconds she saw what 20+ drs previously missed (including my previous surgeon, multiple ER docs, GI's, & radiologist) & within 1 week of my 1st visit she operated. Unfortunately I've needed multiple surgeries since but none were because of anything she did or missed. She's compassionate, she listens, she's more than thorough & has amazing bedside manners. (Kinda unheard of!) She has vowed to not give up until I am better and I believe her. I trust her 100% and recommended her to everyone I meet and even people I've met online who suffer with WLS complications. The ONLY real complaints are: it often takes weeks to get an appt & some of the office staff aren't equally as friendly. I've had a few issues w/some of the residence… but not sure if they work directly under her or diff teams at MGH but I've had them misdiagnose me and miss a few things. Thankfully she has her staff run things by her whether it's 2am & she's reading my ct scan or she's in the OR. She has been my angel!

Janey is amazing. A true one of a kind blend of raw talent and compassion. She's the best.

Great caring surgeon. Office staff are difficult

To me, there is NO BETTER SURGEON in the world. I had two surgerues with Dr. Pratt. She gives us all the attention. She is 'human', caring, loving. She really takes her time to explain everything and goes out of her way to be sure her patients get the best care. As a doctor, as a surgeon, as a person, she is simply exceptional. She truly is an angel. If she told me today I'd have to go back to the OR for any reason, I'd go in a heart beat! No wonder, because of her, I am now planning on getting a college degree, applying to medical school and one day, I want to become a surgeon as good as she is! She is simply great - period!
