Dr. Janice Pamela Lewis-Thomas, MD

Dr. Lewis-Thomas was often difficult to reach, and with whom to schedule appointments. In her visit/exam notes, she often excluded pertinent information about Patient's ailments, simple medication requests, and key symptoms the Veteran suffered. This delayed referrals, treatment plans and impeded disability review processes, leading to Pact- Act covered illnesses, C&P exams and claims processes. This hindered the patient receiving proper follow-on care and disability rating adjudication, resulting in physical and mental anguish, and obstructed proper compensation for Service-related claims. Although somewhat friendly, she must develop greater active listening skills, and timely communication with patients and their representatives.

Dr. Lewis-Thomas is very professional, knowledgeable, kind, concerned, patient, an expert.

It has been a long time since I had a personable physician who was hands on. Dr. Thomas is delightful and very thorough. She is new in this practice and there are a few kinks, but the office staff is working hard to make it 5 stars! I appreciate her and the staff. They have turned my health around.
