Dr. Janice Arlene Miller, MD

Dr Miller was the worst experience I've ever had. Saw her twice. Not by choice. She misdiagnosed me both times. Could have been life threatening both times. Luckily the Dr's I saw for 2nd opinions found what was wrong within a couple days of seeing Dr. Miller. The first was a 9 inch tumor in my lumbar spine. That time she sent me home with high altitude meds. Never did a CT or MRI. The second was a TIA. I was airlifted to the hospital for that. Sent me home the following day saying nothing was wrong. Consensus of a panel of neurologists I did have a TIA. Very incompetent in my treatment.

Years ago, I went to see Dr. Miller. I suffer from Cluster Headaches. When I first started to try to get a diagnosis, I went to Dr. Miller. She laughed in my face and told me it was impossible for me to have these because I was not a man in my forties. At the time I was a teenage girl. Now I am in my forties.This contradicts the literature from the National Headache Foundation, literature I found in her own waiting room. Do not go to her if you have headaches. She didn't even order tests to see if there was an underlying cause. I was terrified and she totally dismissed me. Worst doctor I have ever had. I have since been properly diagnosed and helped with pain relief by competent doctors.

did not address my concern. I went to another neurologist and right away she ordered MRI and found out I had a stroke. SDr. miller did not address my concern which was confusion.

do not go to this doctor for multiple sclerosis , your care will be years behind and you progression will be years ahead.

Dr. Miller seemed to have the arrogance of Old School doctors-hierarchy rather than the teamwork style to which I'm now accustomed. It was not an altogether pleasant experience even though they say she has a good reputation. I'm open to finding another neurologist. Old School is def not my preference if there are any other options.

I was ok with seein Dr. Miller, since I was in desperate need to see a doctor due to my double vision. She did do a good exam; however, did not take the recommendation of my fiance, who is a doctor to proceed with certain blood tests. I waited 9 days for my lab to arrive and when then did I called 3 times to get the results. I never recieved a call back, when I was told that the doctor would call me that night. I finally went into the office to pick them up and have another friend neurologist out of town read them to me. When I did it was a medical emergency. The other doctor saved me from becoming blind! I have Giant Cell Arteris, which is a serious auto immune disease. The blood test could have taken one day. When I called back again , she was on vacation. I never heard from her again, even after the diagnosis. Talk about patinet abuse!!!! If this review is read and means anthing to you, I would highy recommend a different doctor. I am thankful everyday when I wake up that I can see… and that is due to my fiance who knew I had a serious disease and the other neurologist who did as well. I am blessed. Dr. Miller needs to be reviewed not by me....by the board! Makes the other good doctors in Boulder look BAD! PLEASE TAKE NOTICE!!!!

You can't rely on this doctor. She doesn't explain her thinking or share her analysis. Doesn't share a diagnosis with patient or family. Doesn't follow through. And then the office staff take over, actually preventing communication with the doctor. Aggressively unhelpful. And just recently, I find out this doctor garners no respect from other professionals in the community. This neurology practice needs to have its' head examined.

I saw her back when I was younger and first started getting migraines. Went to another dr for a second opinion(big mistake) Started having seizures and am now going back to her for a second oponion.What a wonderful lady!
