Dr. Janice Ruth S Powells, MD

This is one of the greats . My family has been with Dr. J for 37 years . My kids and grand kids. She walks and speaks lightly, she’s patient and listens I’ve called her when she was at a Christmas party and she answered. She has come dressed in her Easter best ,white gloves and all to check on my son.She has come in her rodeo boots and hat to TCH to see about my kid. I can’t thank her enough for all she has done above and beyond her duty . All I can say is . Thank you. Dr. J .

I think they could use a lil more professionalism, and SMILES, however the care is GREAT!!!! Dr. Powell is very informative and she listens and interacts with conversation with the kids and parent, she discusses the diagnosis with understanding and is willing to try new methods with suggestions.

Every time I call to make a appt I get a rude person saying that they are not open or to call back 4 hrs later!! Then the staff is so rude and nosey for example one lady stopped what she was doing in the office and came to the back where i was and said that my baby dont look like his daddy and what does he think about the baby...like if its not his!?!?!!! I have taken my baby everal times here and waited many hours after my appt to be seen by another doctor (she was nice)...

The office is very busy, but, when you are seen it is not rushed or slighted, so, you can understand the wait. Dr. Powell is a wonderful doctor, and the staff are just as great!
