Dr. Janith Rory Seidel, MD

I saw Dr. Seidel today as my PCP (Kaiser)was not available. I’m surprised at these reviews as I found her very warm, caring and easy to talk to. She was thorough and listened to my concerns. I would continue to see her if Kaiser opened up her caseload to new patients.

She completely disregarded a few health concerns of mine. she always rushed through appointments and never took the time to answer questions. she was bad at communicating as well. i finally decided to switch doctors when my lab results came back abnormal and she messaged me on the kaiser app and told me to schedule a phone visit and when trying to do so, she didn’t have availability for two months. she wanted me to wait TWO MONTHS to discuss abnormal blood work!!! even if it wasn’t too concerning to her she could’ve showed empathy and made the effort and time to call me even though she was fully booked for two months. i do not recommended this doctor at all.

I don’t even know where to begin. The reviews on this site are very similar to the experience I have had from this quack. She was so rushed, among other poor manners, I have decided to end my relationship with kaiser and get proper care elsewhere. She is a pill pusher, after the pharmacist went through the 20 side effects of the medicine she prescribed, I went home and flushed it down the toilet and sent her an electronic message saying she was out of line for prescribing something like this to me. I seriously don’t know where she got her education.

She really listens to your concerns and is easy to talk to.

She seems frazzled and stressed. Not caring at all. Talked more about how thirsty she was due to eating salty foods and the facial peel she just had done rather than the care of my mom who was just diagnosed with cancer. Will not go to her again.

It is Kaiser and unfortunately care and concern are not part of the product they provide. Dr. S was arrogant, uneducated, and seemed more interested in providing prescriptions than with solving health issues. Go with a younger doctor who isn't burned out and has a holistic view of healthcare.

Horrible doctor. She is very cold and doesn't care about her patients. She doesn't take any initiative with tests and what needs to get done. She doesn't keep her word either. She said she would call me back about to discuss my test results, and she never did...

I recently had an appointment with this doctor. She is not very warming or soothing and simply treats you like you're "just another customer." Which yes, I understand I am, but you should never make anyone feel that way. She does not tell you what she is going to do as she is doing it, and just assumes you are comfortable with the situation. I do not recommend this doctor.
