Dr. Jared A Christensen, MD

Dr. Christensen joined The Medford Radiological Group, P.C. (MRG) in July 2010. He complements our practice with experience in Diagnostic Radiology including advanced MRI, CT, and Ultrasound as well as experience in both therapeutic and diagnostic intervention, including cancer ablation. Dr. Christensen received his medical degree from Mayo Medical School at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN; where he was the Lucille B. Gooding scholar. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Christensen completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a four-year residency in Diagnostic Radiology, both at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. While in residency, Dr. Christensen was elected chief resident in the Department of Radiology, a position he held for two years. In 2010, he completed an additional fellowship year in Cross-Sectional Imaging at Mayo Clinic, where he focused on MRI, CT, and Ultrasound of the body as well as the interventional treatment of cancer. Dr. Christensen is the author of several …articles on diagnostic and Interventional Radiology in major medical journals and has presented his research both nationally and internationally. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, and the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound.
