Dr Dirks thinks outside the box for differential diagnoses. But he can get stuck on one diagnosis that the patient does not believe is accurate and he berates patient until the patient agrees they may have what Dr. Dirks says. Aggressive with addressing patient compliance and reiterating that he is right no matter what the patient says.

Is open to non traditional treatments i.e. taking Red yeast rice for high cholesterol

Dr. Dirks has left his practice in warrensburg and we were told we could follow to new practice really had no choice with meds that were given! Traveled 2 hours 1 way and without any concideration after 3 months at new office will not see us anymore for injury due to new insurance even if we self pay! only 2 weeks before meds are due and can cause damage if we are not taken off slowly or renewed. This is not the professionalism that anyone should show another NEVER reasure your patient that they will take care of it and 2 weeks before appointment be told no more visits. Do NOT trust him or staff!

Dr. Dirks took good care of my two year old when he had an ear infection.
