Dr. Jared Adam Hertz, DO

I called his home number to “ help” me fill my husband insulin. His office has been sending the info to the WRONG place. When I tried to explain dr hertz hung up on me. What kind of a dr would hang up on a patient who is only trying to get the medication he desperately needs.It’s bad enough insulin is very expensive & now I have to deal with a dr who hangs up on a patient. On my last appointment I was held in the waiting room for over an hour, after an hour I was begging them to lower the music from the television it was inappropriate and too loud, the nurse very nasty told me she couldn't, after another 20 minutes I started yelling in the room because I was having a literal anxiety attack (in which I see them as a patient for), after begging for some sort of idea on what was taking so long and why they couldn't lower the Broadway musical streaming on my television , the nurse again very nasty told me I'm not allowed to yell and they'll see me whenever they get to me. On my way out she was very disrespectful and said rude things about me to the doctor. A couple of days later I received a letter that Doctor Jared Hertz was dropping me as patient. Who keeps people waiting for appointments for over an hour without letting the patient know what's going on? Who streams inappropriate Broadway musicals on extra loud volumes and when a patient respectfully… asks at first to lower it you are totally uncooperative? Seriously it was a dial on the wall, you couldn't lower it? That nurse ( not Erika she's a sweetheart, the other one) is a sadist, she shouldn't be working in Healthcare or near people with any sort of medical problems. She must have gotten some weird power trip torturing me. It saves us trouble doctor hertz because I wad not going to be returning to you as patient and will be further advising anyone to stay far away from your office

Dr. Jared Hertz is a warm and caring physician. His greeting is always earnest and comforting. I've always liked the attention to detail that both he and Dr Howard Hertz provide. After your exam, the doctor sits with you and your file and reviews current and past concerns and medical history. Being thorough and giving his patients the time to ask questions and gather information is very important to me. 5 Stars!!

There was no social distancing taking place in the office and waiting room. The receptionist had her mask on her chin. The PA's mask was under his nose and he kept on touching it. This doctor's office obviously does not care about your health! Someone should report them to Suffolk County Department of Health!

Dr J Hertz is a genuine doctor who cares about his patients. He is dedicated to his practice and goes out of his way to help. Babylon Medical Practice is a great office with multiple services allowing patients to take care of all of their healthcare needs in one convenient place.

I really hope Dr. Jared Hertz would have his office follow COVID19 procedures better. It is unacceptable to have patients waiting in the waiting room or in the car for over an hour to be seen. This medical practice should also limit the number of people waiting in the waiting room and have them go directly to a room. Temperature checks should be done before patients even enter the office. Also ALL the staff should be wearing masks at ALL times! Furthermore, patients should not wait to check in or check out-all paperwork can be sent home. I am happy to report that most other doctor's office that I have went to during this pandemic are doing all these things and more. It is unacceptable that this practice is not doing them as well.

Dr. Jared Hertz is the best! I’ve been coming here for a few years now and I have never felt more cared for than in his hands. He is extremely thorough and never leaves anything out. He does his best by his patients and puts all of their concerns at ease with grace. Thank you Dr. Hertz, never stop being the great doctor you are, if only more doctors were like you!

I've been bouncing from doctor to doctor for several years before I found Babylon Medical Practice 3 years ago. The fact that they are open 7 days makes it very convenient for any schedule. Although it does get busy (I typically make my appointments on weekends due to work M-F), the doctors and staff make it worth the wait. Dr. Jared, in particular, is a very bright and thoughtful practitioner with excellent bedside manners. He explains everything thoroughly and leaves plenty of time for questions. He also helped me with a weight loss program that yielded positive results! Would definitely recommend!

Babylon Medical Practice offers the highest quality care out there. The doctors are extremely thorough, taking the time to explain and discuss any issue you have. They are always available. The practice makes it convenient by drawing blood tests on site and they also have additional testing (such as ultrasound) available. Highly recommend.
