Dr. Jared Don Pearson

Dr. Jared D. Pearson, DDS
Dr. Jared Pearson was born and raised in Ogden, Utah. He first became interested in Dentistry when he was 17 because his parents finally got him braces and it transformed his smile and improved his self esteem. He wanted to help other people feel good about their smiles as well.
After graduating from Bonneville High School in 1991, Dr. Pearson attended Brigham Young University for a year and then served a 2-year mission to Argentina. He enjoys practicing his Spanish in the office. He graduated from BYU in 1997 with a bachelors degree in Zoology.
After BYU, Dr. Pearson attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry with the Dental Research Award scholarship. He graduated in 2001, and then moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he furthered his education at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in their Pediatric Dentistry program. He completed that in 2003 and has been in practice here in Utah ever since.
Dr. Pearson’s primary goal as a dentist of young …children is to teach the parents about preventative dentistry. He loves working with the kids and loves to see them come back after their first visit with significantly lower rates of decay.
As a Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Pearson specializes in very young children and those with special needs. He greatly enjoys helping children who are extremely nervous or scared to have a positive dental experience. Dr. Pearson says that the best compliment he has ever received was from a patient who told him he was the most gentle dentist they had ever been to.
Dr. Pearson has been married to his wife, Cindy, for 14 years. They have 5 children: 3 girls and 2 boys. In his free time Dr. Pearson enjoys reading, playing basketball, and cheering for the BYU Cougar football team. GO Cougars!
