Dr. Jared Wallen

After two visits absolutely nailed cause of my symptoms. Totally different than my expectations. He gave my wife and I a very thorough review along with the choices open to us after his discovery of my bladder tumor. Absolutely did not rush us during the visit. Was considerate enough to call us at home when questions arose about my scheduled bladder procedeure. Procedure was cancelled by the hospital due to COVID19 virus. I I asked for waiting period for hospital reschedule rather than undergo procedure in his office where removal of tumor may not have been as thorough. Dr. Wallen agrees. Some concerns about my suceptibility to Corona Virus at age 76 in a hospital environment. Highly recommend Dr Wallen. My neighbor was also a very satisfied patient of his for a prostate issue. In addition manager of a large Brandon restaurant, weve know for years, also recommended, very strongly, Dr. Wallen. Our family physician was our final recommendation. You will start out with the Nurse Practitioner and only if you get worse will you actually see the doctor. Get ready to talk to a nurse or front office person more than anything.

As a Patient of Dr. Wallen, I find him to be the best Urologist in the state of Florida. He is the most caring Doctor I have ever seen in the medical field. Let me tell you how picky I am. I have visited over 7 Urologists in the past year to help me solve my prostate problem. Not one of them helped me. I was losing confidence. Then I found Dr. Wallen, and my confidence returned. I had to drive two hours and thirty minutes to get to his office, But it was well worth it. He came up with a plan and are in the process of solving my prostate problem. Now, for those of you who have posted negative comments pertaining to office billing and alike. Believe me, No one cares. Billing issues can always be resolved. It's the quality, knowledge and character of the physician that people are interested in. People must remember, Physicians work for medical corporations and are actual employees of that company. When someone leaves a negative comment about issues that have nothing to do with a doctors… performance, it affects the Physician because their name is at the top of the review page. Office issues can easily be resolved, but how a physician handles health issues are the reason why this site exists. And I can say without a doubt, Dr. Wallen is the best there is in resolving problems in his field. I highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a urologist.

GO ANYWHERE ELSE! This is one of the most unprofessional and incompetent health practitioners offices I have ever dealt with in the last 20 years of my life. Not only did our 2 hour appointment time take a ridiculous 4 hours for no reason, but the lack of organization from the staff is now causing us months of frustrastion because their billing department is an absolute failure. I’ve called and spoken to the employees 5 times to correct this issue and now I’m being threatened with final notices from a 3rd party company for a test we never agreed to. A terrible lack of communication on their part after I explicitly told them the services we wanted, a simple procedure has now become a monthly waste of hours of my time to correct it with no success. GO ANYWHERE ELSE

Dr. Wallen is a fantastic Urologist. He listens to his patients and is very professional. I highly recommend him.
