Dr. Jared Wong, MD

BEWARE- My husband had a terrible experience here. His appointment was for 11am, he was not seen until 12:15pm and the staff had no real remorse or explanation. Multiple patients were there complaining as well. He was seen by Dr. Jared Wong. The doctor came in, rushing, examined my his backside quickly by sticking something up there WITHOUT warning. When he was done, we tried to get an explanation on his condition and the doctor tried to rush out to see other patients, stating "You will need surgery". We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes to see him and he did not want to give us anymore than 10 minutes. Once my husband insisted on more information and wanted to ask questions, the doctor sat back down with a very unpleasant attitude and continued to rush us. We just decided to end the appointment and seek another referral. My husband tried to express his concerns with the front desk and the doctor came out and insisted that the office staff could not hear his complaint- "Oh well" basically.… Just terrible. Additionally, after his rectal exam the doctor prompted my husband to use the industrial paper towels (by the sink) and lysol wipes (for surfaces only, NOT SKIN!) to clean himself up. He was unbelievably unprofessional. I would advise everyone to see someone else. These matters can be so sensitive for patients, they deserve to be treated with empathy, professionalism, and care. I will be following up with a formal complaint with this office and Emanate Health partners.
