De Burkhart was such a wonderful surprise, we were immediately at ease with him. He has an aura of kindness, compassion, care and has a gentle approach in speaking with us, so much so that he helped rid us of about 75% of our anxiety we have been feeling for months. I as able to actually laugh on my birthday, the first day meeting with him, because i felt so relieved to be in his hands. I feel more cared for and my Chemo and Radiation doesn’t even begin until the 29th of December. We trust him to guide us through treatment of my cancer. Enough said! Lol

Dr Burkhart began attending me 5 years ago today 6 October 2020 after a horrific emergency surgery 10/5/20…. From his very first visit the 23 days I was in hospital .. the importance he placed on monitoring my oncological history since deserves plaudits in appreciation for sincere empathy . The old adage young folk might not know .. I say he exercises GOOD BEDSIDE MANNER .. a dated term nonetheless true for Dr Burkhart !!

Prompt, friendly,introduction, shook hands, went over chart , showed me on computer the info , discussed the interpretations of labs,. Did exam . Asked if I had concerns or questions . informed me of the time of next appointment . Reassurance of my improvement , but for any concerns or changes to get in touch with office and discuss needs to make an appointment . Good appointment . Doctor is very thorough .

Very personable. Dr. Burkart has been outstanding since taking over my care from my previous doctor who left the office/state. He knows how to put a patient at ease.
